Representing the populations hardest hit by HIV

Partnering and Communicating Together (PACT) is a funded partnership between the CDC- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and some of the nation’s leading organizations representing the populations hardest-hit by HIV. Pinyon manages this grant adapting the Let’s Stop HIV Together campaign (formerly known as Act Against AIDS) to be linguistically and culturally relevant to Hispanics. The project leveraged Spanish broadcast and social media aimed at stopping HIV stigma and promoting HIV testing, prevention, and treatment.

Pinyon Foundation with Hispanic Communications Network secured celebrity endorsements with Los Huracanes del Norte in 2017 and Banda MS in 2019 facilitating acceptance of the messages among Hispanic audiences.
