Greater Good Science Center - University of California Berkeley

Over the past two decades, researchers have expanded our understanding of the keys to developing character strengths such as forgiveness, generosity, gratitude, and honesty in our children helping parents raise children who are supportive of others and committed to something bigger than themselves.

In order to help bridge the gap between research and the daily lives of parents, the Greater Good Science Center together with Pinyon Foundation launched an initiative to help parents raise kids of high character who treat others with compassion and respect.

Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Partnering and Communicating Together (PACT) is a funded partnership between the CDC- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and some of the nation’s leading organizations representing the populations hardest-hit by HIV.

Through their collaborative approach, PACT Members cooperate to reach the CDC’s national HIV prevention goals of reducing new HIV infections, improving health outcomes for individuals with HIV, and reducing HIV-related disparities. Pinyon Foundation coordinates the Spanish-language mass media and social media portions of this partnership reaching millions of Hispanics nationwide.

Self Reliance Farm is a small-scale sustainable community and educational center specializing in community outreach and service through sustainable agriculture, natural building, responsible environmental stewardship, the teaching, sharing and revitalizing of traditional living skills and the fostering of entrepreneurship in rural Northern New Mexico.

Aspira

The only national Hispanic organization dedicated exclusively to developing the educational and leadership capacity of Hispanic youth. Since 1961, ASPIRA has been working at the grass-roots level to provide programs that encourage Hispanic students to stay in school, prepare them to succeed in the educational arena, develop their leadership skills, and to serve their community.
